The  LRA  is  a  non-profit,  non-partisan  society  devoted  to  promoting  the  interests  of  its  members through  activities  that  encourage  information  sharing  and public  representation.

 

LRA  members  are  people  just  like  you.  They  care  about  Ladysmith  and  want  to stay  informed about  local  developments  that  affect  the  quality  of  their  lives,  and  they  want  assurance  that their  hard-earned  tax  dollars  are  being  spent  wisely.

 

Like you, LRA members don’t have time to support all causes. In joining the LRA, you can choose to join the committees that investigate the issues that are important to you;  or you can choose to join none at all.  Importantly,  as a collective,  LRA members decide which issues require an investigation in order to keep our membership informed.​  LRA members  know there is  influence and  wisdom in the  collective.​
